| "Local Color" is the emotional and inspirational story of a talented, but troubled eighteen-year-old art student (Trevor Morgan) and his mentor (Armin Mueller-Stahl), an elderly alcoholic “Russian Master” who has turned his back on not only art, but on life. What begins as a tenuous relationship for the two artists ultimately becomes their salvation. The student learns to see the world through the master's eyes, and the master learns to see life through the eyes of innocence again. This story is based on a real life experience. |
