Based on the internationally best selling Alain De Botton novel, Essays in Love (US title On Love), My Last Five Girlfriends is written and directed by multi -BAFTA and International Emmy award-winning director Julian Kemp. It's the story of the lovelorn Duncan (Brendan Patricks), who takes the audience on a playful, visually inventive and hilarious trip as he recounts his last five relationships. With advice from many sources and intense flights of fancy, Duncan finally realises that love is a battleground where only the fittest can survive. The film was shot on location in London, Paris and Spain and uses a dazzling array of filmic techniques to tell this universal story of the pursuit of true love.
